XS cherry blast

XS has created a real problem for itself. I love this little can, with no carbs or sugars and such a sweet yummy flavor. Problem is I am not sure how I can get it. I guess I could sign up for it, and figure out how many of these I want to consume in a month, plan out accordingly and wait the standard business days for Amway to send me my package, with the caveat that I will be getting this for months. Or, Maybe I can get more and sell them to someone – but then I would have to have time to become a sales agent and try to pawn off these drinks to my family.
As much as I might like this product, entering into a MLM for them is too big a chunk of my soul for.

Taste:9
As for the product itself, this cherry red is really really good. The lightly sweetened cherry is very crisp, clean and smooth. This really has to be one of the best cherry energy drinks I have had, in the same category as Bing. While there is a very slight medicinal edge to it, there is a deeper herbal flavor that really compliments the fruitiness. If this were bigger and in a 16 ounce size I am sure this would be a real blast.

Packaging:8
With so many drinks discarding the little 8 ounce rockets and opting for the slim 12, 16 or even 18 ounce size, I am surprised whenever I encounter a company whose entire line is made up of little doubleshots. Not that you can’t find power in them, as Spike shooters have too much caffeine and Yohimbe and are in the small can too. But Spike also has many flavors on their 16 ounce line too.
Overall the fonts and the layout are top notch – with everything turning out nicely. only ave 2 problems with this can. Firstly, there is no caffeine listing – so the drinker just has to guess at the amounts. The second problem is the lid, which is haphazardly put on.

Nutrition/Buzz:8
While I am left to guess at the caffeine amount, I am left with a very mild buzz – although I expect that was more from the adaptogenic herb blend – much like what 5 hour energy uses. There is the standard energy ingredients in here, ginseng, an overdose of B vitamin complex, taurine and some L-Glutamine in there as well.

My guess from the boost is there is about 80mg of caffeine in here – enough that this in a two liter bottle might be a little much. Still, I think I could easily down three of these in one sitting – and they are tasty enough that I am sure I probably could.
