Eblast Energy Drink

With Bally Blast, we’ve designed a product that tastes great and one that will help our members enhance their energy potential and sharpen their concentration at the gym and in daily life activities,” said Paul Toback, chief operating officer at Bally Total Fitness. “Bally’s line of performance-enhancing products and supplements has been extremely well-received both inside and outside of our clubs. There is tremendous opportunity in the energy drink market, a rapidly growing category with increasingly strong demand from consumers,” said Toback. “The addition of Bally Blast to our product line is the natural and strategic step in the continued expansion and extension of the Bally brand.” Well Paul – I am not I would go so far as saying Outside of your club too… I have to say I gave it a good unbiased try and did not think so highly of it. I mean, it is OK, but I would never go so far as saying the reviews I have seen were Extremely Well received. This drink did not seem to give me much in the way of kick or taste, and the packaging seemed quite tame for what you Could have done. You guys should have stuck to what you knew, and just sold others brands in your store. If you are caught at Ballys and need something to pick yourself up, I would still pass this one by and just grab a water. This is nothing but an expensive not-as-good Red Bull clone.

There is about 120 calories ( or an extra 30 minutes on the exer-cycle) in one small can, Water, Sugar, Ginseng Extract, Inositol, Pantothenic Acid, Riboflavin, Thiamin Hydrochloride, Pyridoxine Hydro CHloride, Ginkgo Leaf Powder, Green Tea, Cyanocobolamin. 1000mg of taurine and enough C to have you sweating lemonade for days. 3 grams of protein per can. no idea how much caffeine, but not much. Very little kick in here to be found either from the tea extract or the caffeine – still needed a mountain dew after drinking it to help get me moving.

Can design is lame – made in Korea too? suspicious. lists calories as energy- cheap flimsy can that lists the copyright on the can as 2002. Is the drink that old? could be… according to the website and all the marketing materials, it does not look like this was given much attention after the initial release. Even the counter people said that it would be better to stay away from drinks like this ( high in sugar and calories) before a big workout.

This is really what a corporate company like Ballys wants to produce? There is not one bit of info, instead devoting space to give a little tiny blurb of info on all their products, a LAME-O interface and a cheap game that it looks like they stole from flashkit.com
