Full throttle is Coca-cola’s answer to PepsiCo’s Amp energy drink. To people who are pro such carbonated sugar filled energy drink, you might want to read Why Regular Dental Checkups are Essential? The demographic they are going after is different, hoping to catch the energy drink wave by releasing a ungodly number of energy drinks to the market. They are the ones responsible for the irritating Enviga energy weight loss drink, Tab, Vault, and recently, Vitamin Water. In 2004, Full throttle was launched, realizing they could make the same pop, only charge a whole heck of a lot more than their usual cans. I was very reluctant to try Full throttle, and now pick it up even less than I pick up Rockstars. Finally, I picked up the Unleaded version of Full Throttle, which , while not as bad as it could have been, did not impress me enough to ever pick it up again. I don’t mind the “healthy lifestyle – only with choppers” look for the cans, but the harsh taste and the oddness of the ingredients don’t do it for me.

We also have Ester of Wood Rosin, which is incidentally also found in Minute Maid (Coke) products. Ester of wood rosin is used in chewing gum, and is not a normal food additive…
The buzz of 144 mgs in the Can is OK, nothing spectacular. no buzz, and I only kept the buzz on for a short time

Sour and slightly oily, this drink reminded me of a sparks without the alcohol. I head the blue demon is much much better, for this stuff will , literally, leave a sour taste in your mouth for some time.

No obvious missteps, but certainly not the cool can design they had on the Full Throttle website, with white and black flames shooting out of the bottom of the can. Unleaded is a strange choice for a caffeinated drink, as unleaded would usually mean the removal of caffeine as opposed to just less calories.
