In a field dominated by cheap knockoffs of Red Bull and Monster, Steaz is a breath of fresh carbon dioxide. I tried the diet flavor before, and it is one of the best energy drinks I have ever had. The green tea and yerba mate, with all the exotic organic fruits and berries make this a bold and complex flavored drink that gives you a ton of energy and nutrients. In a nutshell, very impressed.
So I was really looking forward to the latest flavor to hit my fridge, The lime version of their Organic Fuel. Thankfully, I was not disappointed the flavor is actually better, and the buzz remains the same. This is advertised as 100% vegan, and full of exotic ingredients such as Yerba Mate and Acai fruit.
Buzz/Nutrition:8
like the other flavor, this is all organic, and all fair trade. SO you are not only getting something good for you, but good for the planet as well. This is advertised as 100% vegan, and full of exotic ingredients such as Yerba Mate and Acai fruit, as well as green tea, and Vitamin C and of course it is caffeinated from guarana too. With all the yerba mate in here, the buzz was slow and gradual, and there was almost no crash afterward.

Steaz’s Lime Energy Drink has the same tea and mate flavor, but now they’ve added lime to the mix and produced something even more complex and tastier than the original. If they came out with one of these in diet ( and made it in cooler cans) , I think I would just pack up my blog and go home – as no other one could get better.

Wow – big bad misstep here. Lime green can with white writing – did anyone look at this before printing? The goofy newsprint photo of a nondescript ethnic dude smiling at works none at all with the can, and the whole unreadable print is a mess. They advertise their badges proudly, (certified badge, vegan badge, etc…) but they are huge and take up a big portion of the can. I do appreciate all the info they put on it, but the display of that information could have been layed out nicer, with certain elements (do you need all 4 of the organic logos on it?) not as packed in and busy.

Beautifully designed flash site that is full of enough bells and whistles to give the impression of a very sophisticated site, without actually relying on flash’s more flashy techniques to have to artificially pump up the sites image. There is a ton of information from the drinks to the additives to links to others helping the rainforest. This site not only teaches about the drink, but about the world we live in and how drinking this drink will bring us all one step closer to saving rainforests, our bodies, our planet, the hunger filled tribes across the globe and bring global peace and unity. ok – well at least I found out what Yerba Mate is supposed to do.
