Guru Juicy Tangerine enrgy Juice

First impression reminded me of those Juvex nectars found in the hispanic foods aisle. Very sticky and sweet. Tasted the orange, lemon and cane juices, felt like I was healthier for drinking it. But was I? This a ton of calories and only 20% juice, and even the all natural organic aspect does not make this drink one to be guzzled on a regular basis.

Taste:5
This does not taste bad – it just tastes the same as ther rest. After all, what is the real diference between this product and the 100 other energy juices out there? From the company who uses stevia to sweeten their diet energy drink I expect better. First, the tangerine flavor is close enough to orange juice that you would not be able to taste anything special. There is no real difference between this product and joker mad juice, monster juice, rumba, rockstar juiced, etc… I like the Organic aspect of it, as well as the natural, but the taste is completely unoriginal.

Buzz:8
Each can has 260 calories, 64 grams sugar, and 2 grams protein. That is a lot of calories for an energy drink. and even though that is on par for energy juices, I still wish it could not be a meal in of itself. The addition of panax ginseng, ginkgo biloba and echinacea is nice, as well as the 160 mg of caffeine per can.

Like most of Guru’s line, one of the things that set this drink apart is the fantastic design of the cans. The bright yellow gradating to orange in dots looks very bright and dramatic – and the color is dark enough to really get the text to stand out. Guru has chosen a fantastic design, while still incorporating the organic branding. The logo and the nutritional content is easy to find, as well as company information.

Chock full of information. However , there is nothing all that fantastic about htis particular product. The Guru site overall is nice, but like Arizona, it would have been much better if they has a micro-site for this product as opposed to a small bit about it on a page.
