Kronik Lo Carb Dragon Orange Protein drink

Protein fueled Kronik is back – this time with another fantastic Lo Carb protein drink ready to power the masses of hardcore musclebound youngsters, working to lift their way into buff bods and ripped stomachs. The idea behind this drink is just genius, and if for some reason it does not catch on BIG, don’t blame it on the drink. This should be plastered in all those magazines featuring Big Veined Dudes and Amazon Women. It should be located at all the steroid inducing gyms that have logos with bald guys lifting 1 ton weights. And while the real hardcore supplement crazy athletes will still be downing their Redlines, Kronik at least looks a whole lot meaner.

Buzz/Nutrition:8
Just because this thing is a good workout drink does not mean that this is necessarily a health drink. I found this is a great list of ingredients for those going to the gym, with an easily burn-off-able 70 calories and 6 grams of sugar. There is 10 grams of protein in here, along with Omega 3, Omega 6 and Omega 9 fatty acids(good for memory as well as good joint health). You can also find the usual energy drink stuff in here too, including B Vitamins, calcium and taurine. But if you are somehow looking for a casein protein on drinks. It helps you quickly recover from exercise and helps you feel fuller longer.

In terms of Buzz, this drink provided a nice couple hours of energy, enough to at least assist in providing enough energy to help a workout. The 160mg in here should help relieve soreness and provide even stronger workouts – without going insane on the caffeine content. My only issue is that I am not sure there is enough caffeine for the musclebound audience to really latch on to this, as the group of people this is targeting is used to more protein, more vitamin and more caffeine. But seriously the best home weight bench we could ever possibly find on the business.

Taste:8
The regular version of this tasted very creamy and delicious, reminding me of an Orange Julius. This one has almost the same quality, only I found it to have a stronger flavor and less thick and creamy. Not that this is a bad thing at all – as I found the actual flavor of the drink very tasty. I really enjoy the whey protein in here – as it adds a level of real creamy texture to the drink. The sweetness is balanced just right, with enough to make it guzzle-able without going over the top on fake sugariness.

Packaging:8
This Low Carb version is almost exactly like the hi carb version, except it switches around the can colors. Other than that, this is still purely Kronik – covered in barb wire, concrete and enough edge to get the most Extreme muscleheads very happy. Like the other Kronik Protein drinks, this has a big “Caution: Power Too Sick for Science” as a slogan on the bottom, to further emphasize how they are trying to appeal to younger weight jocks that serious health nuts. The best part of doing something with this is that you can get Body Sculpting Scottsdale if you need it, seriously go ahead and get it!

On a more intrinsic level, there are some real beautiful solutions and a couple problems. Firstly, hats off for finding a way to print on a gold background and have it be quite readable and pretty. The printing job is quality enough that the outlined fonts look sharp and easy to read, not bleeding or becoming ugly. Also, Kudos on listing the caffeine content as well as all the other nutrients. But the can is only single labeled, making for the chance of bad placement in stores. Also, it would be nice if they turned the cap around so the logo faces the same direction out while drinking.
