mamajuana vitality potion

I have tried a good number of aphrodisiacs before – drinks that promise to get you in the mood for a night of fun in the bedroom. Almost all of them promise to get you in the mood and keep you…up and awake for a long time. While most are filled with ingredients that make you feel like you just bought something from a cure-all wagon in the old west and are nothing more than 5 hour energy shots – Wrestling star JBL’s vitality drink makes sure that WHATEVER you plan on doing for the next 4 hours you will be doing it with more dedication than without. While nothing can get you in the mood if you are not already there, MamaJuana makes sure that if you are there you are not going to sleep for a while.

I only had one bottle of the stuff – so I had to make sure it performed as it said it would – and decided not to mix the drink with rum, or have it at night when the kids were all in bed. Instead, I tried this sample in the most un-sexy place I could think of – my little cubicle. And while I did not get any urges to go to any NSFW websites, I did seem to have more concentration, focus and energy for a long time after swallowing their stuff. I am totally impressed with the boost in my concentration and my ability to get the job done. This little bottle will help you perform like a superstar, regardless of what activity you are doing.

Nutrition/Buzz:9
Firstly, this is supposed to be only for men. By that, they mean that this drink has things that are only supposedly arousing for guys. I assumed that meant that this drink had Yohimbe in it – an herb that used to be prescribed to men for erectile dysfunction before Viagra came along. Surprisingly, it doesn’t reportedly keeping it out on to keep all their ingredients approved by the FDA(does that mean maca root is approved then?) Really, the sexual enhancers in this drink are the same ones used in all the other aphrodisiacs – hawthorn Berry, Anamu, Eleuthero, Muira Puama and Horny Goat Weed. These are pretty standard ingredients for all these drinks- and all of them are pretty weak and ineffective.
BUT – as for the buzz – be prepared. This drink pumps you full of over the top energy – for a good long time too. This has a serious 200mg of caffeine, as well as green tea for that added boost. The L-Phenylalanine, N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine as well as all the other energy drink standards ( Taurine, Glucuronlactone, all the Vitamin B and C you need for the day) are in here – and all perform extremely well.

SO far, the only place I have seen to get this is online, where it runs a very steep 5 bucks a bottle – sold in 6 and 12 packs.

Packaging:10
This packaging is absolutely wonderful – from the design of the unique bottle to the printing and the great art. For capturing the feeling of the Caribbean, Mamajuana did an amazing job. The little bottle looks like it should contain sunscreen or rum, and am actually surprised it contains such a powerful shot inside. This is unique enough to take you right out of the mode of this being an energy shot – and reminds you that this is supposed to be for very specific activities. I like the way they tie this into the theory that this is an ancient Caribbean recipe, almost smuggled to the US for us to consume. Hats of to the amazing artist and packager for doing a most brilliant job.
As for the mechanics, they helpfully list the caffeine content – as well as everything else included. They even managed to keep away from using that stupid plastic seal around the top.
I have tried a couple of John Layfield’s products before – all of which have been disasters in terms of packaging. This one, however, is absolutely stellar – something that should win awards.

Taste:3
While some places have lauded the flavor, I thought it was surprisingly bad. Not bad in the traditional energy shot sense, but bad in a sense all it’s own. This reminded me of what would happen if Kool Aid came out with a sugar free prune flavor. This is full of artificial berry taste, mixed with a deep raisin-y mix that did not taste anything close to Caribbean. I was expecting something tropical flavored, or even something which would make me think of dark rum drinks on sandy beaches. I guess they were going for a cinnamon bark-vanilla thing, but somehow it went all wrong.
At least it was not sour bitter or harsh – just poor flavored. It was easy enough to drink down – and the artificial sweeteners were OK. Still , I would not recommend getting this one for taste alone.

Website:9
This is a beautiful site – put together by someone who knew what they were doing. If you look at the backend code, you can see that there were definitely some professionals on this. It looks coll and sexy – with a few very tastefully done women photos with a lush backdrop. There is more information you ever wanted to know – all presented cleanly in a nice interface. If I would have one issue, it would be that their video with JBL would not load automatically, as I like my noise to come from me and not screaming out at me – making me frantically search for the stop button. Also, for a site advertising a product for the older crowd, should the text type be a whole lot bigger?
Still, a most excellent job – from the rss feeds to the testimonial page to the shopping cart.
