The drink is a bit more of a slight jab to the stomach than his “Leg Drop of Doom” in taste and power. Socko tried hard to push this drink over the hulkamaniac image, finally changing the name from hulk energy to Hogan Energy – which actually is a fine change. The graphics and layout are basically the same can except the word change, and could seriously still kick Stephen Segals lightning bolt over the top rung. To all his little Hulkamaniacs, say your prayers, drink your B your vitamins and you will never go wrong. Of course, if it is good enough for a 6 foot 7 275 lb wrestler, its good enough for me.

the usual EDM, but has high fructose corn syrup – so it has 120 more calories a can than there needs to be. There is a sugar free variety, but I have not seen it yet. There is about 160 mg of caffeine, and lots of taurine too – as well as horny goat weed. I think it is a different mix than the regular Socko, but I did not get ahold of a ton of into on the other ingredients in the drink. Problem is, like Socko, extra high fructose Corn Syrup adding calories where it is not needed.

What an amazing can – beautiful design, beautiful pic of hogan, squeezing cans of energy drink so hard they almost pop – the ingredients list is decent, and their font choice and colors is amazing. Bue Media did another fantastic job.

I like the crisp apple/watermelon flavor, though like with Socko, the HFCS gave it a bit of an oily flavor. Still, for a hfcs drink this is pretty fantastic. It is not very strong, not a powerful sweet, and all around flavorful with very little aftertaste. Pretty yummy stuff.

Same as the regular socko site, they don’t really have just a hogan energy site – but it is still very nice and simple. I find the women grabbing their asses and seductively showing their belly, while the men look all young and burly a little obnoxious, but I get their theme of hip, youthful and energetic while not super amazing, the overall concept and design work well enough.
