Kronik Protein energy – Dragonberry

Protein in energy drinks is a marriage of two markets that just makes sense. Fitness nuts love caffeine , as it helps you go longer, faster and have less recovery time. Muscle jocks love it because it could help with serious muscle workouts – especially if the energy drink also has glutamine, creatine, and many other common energy drink ingredients, although they know where to buy sarms and use it along with other supplements to get good muscles, you can get these products explained in different articles online.
This Kronik goes right after the market of young studs who buy those scary steroid poster boy muscle magazines. While the ingredients in here are great enough to be in anyone’s hands as a healthy treat, the packaging and marketing of this drink is pretty clear who their target demographic. While I can see lots of these at Gold’s Gym or places ruled by testosterone and grunting, it would be as out of place in a yoga or spinning class as a box of ding-dongs.

More kronik styled barbed wire and awesome slogans(Caution: Power too sick for science) This can should have no problem grabbing the market share of testicularly challenged acne ridden muscle nuts. It also appeals to those who just love energy drinks, like me. I have always been a fan of Kronik’s packaging, never hesitating to appeal to the immature and goofy side of energy drinkers. This is a brilliant package and a great idea. As for the specifics of the can, it still could use a bit of work. The lid should be turned around, so everyone can enjoy the design, and there is a common double facing issue, where it is easy to place these drinks facing the wrong way on cooler shelves.

Buzz/Nutrition:8
There is a lot going on here which would make this a perfect post-workout drink. Sure, it has over 260 calories in the can – but that is about average for a 16 oz energy drink – and the fact that it does that not with empty calories, but with real sugar, Omega 3, Omega 6, and Omega 9 , 64 mg of calcium and most importantly 10 grams of whey protein, this drink is a great thing.
Of course it has all the energy ingredients in it too — and provides more than enough rush – about 4 hours worth. They have 160mg of caffeine, 2000mg of taurine, and all the usual Bs that you would expect form any energy drink.

Taste:9
This is a fantastic mix of flavors – tasting sweet and berryful. You can taste the strawberry and mango in here, as well as the dragonfruit. The cranberry also rounds out the flavor, adding a bit of berry tartness without going sour. While I don’t mind the straight sugar, I am not sure they needed the artificial sweeteners in here too – it has a chemicalness to it that might have been because of the sucralose and ace K used as well. I think that if you are already committed to drinking something with lots of calories, you might as well make it natural and just use the sugars.
Either way, this is still a fantastic tasting product, much better than you would imaging from either an energy drink or a protein supplement. The whey gives this drink a depth and creamy quality that was unexpected and quite delicious. Overall, this drink is high up on my list.
